Fee

The workshop fee is 80 EUR. It covers all sessions, coffee breaks, a social dinner on Jul 6, and lunch in the college serveries on Jul 6 and Jul 7. Payment via SEPA bank transfer:

Accommodation

There is a limited amount of college rooms directly on the Jacobs Campus. Bathroom and toilet is shared with another participant. The cost is 35 EUR per night. This does not include any food. Indicate your interest in the registration form. Upon availability we might also offer an apartment for a single person (45 EUR per night). Payment via SEPA bank transfer only after confirmation of room reservation! 4 nights = 140 EUR (180 EUR for full apartment), 3 nights = 105 EUR (135 EUR for full apartment), 2 nights = 70 EUR (90 EUR for full apartment)

The workshop takes place at Jacobs University Bremen, Campus Ring 1, 28759 Bremen

Campus Map and Directions

Local Public Transport: From the airport go by Tram 6 to “Central Railway Station” (every 10 min., direction “Universität” but that is NOT Jacobs University, duration 16 min, ). Form “Central Railway Station” go by Regio-S-Bahn RS1 (train) to Bremen-Schönebeck (every 15-30 min., direction “Bremen-Vegesack” or “Bremen-Frage”, duration 17 min.). Go 10 min. by foot to Jacobs Campus.
For the trip you need in single city tram ticket for 2.75 EUR. A regular taxi will probably be more the 40 EUR.

Travel Grants

News: Travel Grants have been awarded beginning of May. 

There is a limited amount of travel grants. Primarily for PhD students, and Postdocs, or researchers without own travel funds. Indicate your interest in a in the registration form.

When you receive a travel grant you can cover travel costs (Economy class, and Public Transport, no Taxi) and accommodation costs. The travel grant will come with a cap depending on the location of the applicant (e.g. 300-600 EUR for applicants from Europe, more for applicants from another continent, less for German applicants). You will receive a travel expense form which you need to fill and sent to us with original receipts. All eligible costs can be covered up to the cap. Note, that the conference fee can NOT be covered by the travel grant!
